At Red Lion Christian Academy we desire to support Christian parents in their God-given responsibility of educating their children. Regardless of whether parents choose a traditional school environment or choose to take on the full-time and rewarding task of educating their children at home, RLCA is here to assist in providing the educational needs and resources necessary.
RLCA is piloting a program for Christian families who choose to educate their children at home yet would like the flexibility to have their students take courses on an “a la carte” basis in a traditional academic environment.
Courses and Activities
RLCA offers courses and activities in the following areas:
- Virtually all 6th – 12th grade courses will be available. This includes courses in P.E., Art, Music, Computer, Bible, History, Science, English, Math, Social Studies, Spanish I - IV, Health, and Drama. For high school course descriptions and credit values please click here. Honors courses, in addition to AP Biology, AP English Literature, AP American History, and AP
- Calculus AB are available for qualified students.
- Choir, Ensemble, Band (Auditions may be required.)
- Annual achievement testing
- Access to our library media center
- Access to computer lab and media resources
- Students have the opportunity to attend weekly chapel services, small group Bible studies, Spiritual Renewal Week, and class field trips.
