WELCOME to the New Red Lion Christian Academy. You have chosen to be here during one of the most exciting times in the history of this great school. I have been charged with the awesome task of leading this great school as we develop the next generation of young leaders. Our children are the heritage of the Lord and our goal is to teach them to think Biblically and to act out their faith with a world-view that honors Christ.   We truly believe this school is on the cutting edge of becoming one of the finest institutions of learning in the entire region. We already have a leadership team, faculty and support staff dedicated to serving nearly 1000 children and young adults as they build lasting memories that will stay with them for the rest of their lives.  We are committed to serving you with excellence and giving God our very best as we join with you in the education of your child. Believe me when I say that you will have made a great choice if you decide to become part of this student body.

New Web Site: New Look, New Features!

If you are a returning student or parent, you might notice something dramatically different about the Red Lion Christian Academy Web Site.  It's all new, built from the ground up to represent RLCA with a fresh look, more power, and more user-friendly features!  Created for us by our Director of Information Technology, Chris Megahan, the new RLCA web site has several new features you might find useful.

For starters, it has a fresh, new look that brings the RLCA crimson red to life.  We plan to bring more frequent, fresher content and photos to the site so you can read all about and see campus events soon after they occur.  A link to a photo gallery of events and activities will be added to the main page in the coming months.  This will help you stay in touch with a visual diary of RLCA's journey, from the spiritual, to the academic, to the athletic.

We are also adding a real-time, live campus calendar to the site so any updates will be available to you immediately.  Of course you'll still be able to download and print a calendar from the site whenever you need one, but having it at your fingertips should make staying in touch with upcoming events a breeze.

If you click over to the Documents and Forms page you'll see a fresh download manager, complete with a search capability.  More categories means that browsing through our forms should be easier.  As we add forms and downloads we'll be working to reorganize them for ease of access and intuitive use.

Then there's a brand new Releases page where news updates and messages from our campus leaders will show up first.  If you want to stay in the know about the vision and direction of RLCA, Releases is the first place to turn.

Finally, administrators and staff are just a couple of clicks away from their Outlook WebMail, families have a quick link into the TeacherEase Student Information System, and community members can open up a self-service Information Technology support ticket with just a couple of clicks.  Just click on the Connect link to check out all the options available to you.

In a lot of ways, this new site is a work in progress.  We've only brought over the freshest content from the old site, so you might notice a few things missing at first.  For example, over time we will expand our contacts page to include all our faculty and administrative contents.  For now, though, you can reach most of the key administrative offices from that page.  And if you see something missing from the old site that you'd like to see here, just drop us a note and let us know.  We'll see what we can do.

The new RLCA web site is a dynamic place where the entire Red Lion Christian Academy community can stay in touch and keep up to date.  Let us know what you think!  Use the "Contact Us" link from the top menu bar to drop us a note and give us your feedback.
