RLCA Announces Excellent Standardized Test Results

In late March 2013, Red Lion Christian Academy students, Kindergarten through ninth grade, took the TerraNova™, Third Edition.  This was one of the earliest windows for spring 2013 testing. Even with three full months of school remaining, our school’s overall performance was Excellent!  For every grade level and subject tested, over 90% of RLCA’s students met or exceeded national standards.

Red Lion Christian Academy hires DaQuan Gibson to head Bible Department  -  Move signals school’s continued emphasis on biblical instruction.
 
Bear, DE – Red Lion Christian Academy today announced that DaQuan Gibson has been hired to lead the school’s Bible department.
 
In this position, Mr. Gibson will be responsible for actively leading the student body to a deeper understanding of the Bible and its truths.  Elements of his duties will include leading weekly school-wide chapels, implementing spiritual development programs, individual spiritual mentoring, and serving as chaplain for students and staff.

We are pleased to offer online, web-based enrollment to facilitate the enrollment process.  For the first time, current and new families will enter all information from the convenience of their own computer or can request tech support on campus by appointment.

    Mock Trial State Tournament

    Our Red Lion Mock Trial Team participated in the Mock Trial State Tournament this weekend with an outstanding performance.  They received 6 of the 8 possible gavels for "Best Witness" and "Best Attorney" categories.  Receiving "Best Witness" gavels were:  Rachel Crawley, Riley Austin, Christina Markakis and Jacob Records.  Rachel Walker received 2 "Best Attorney" Gavels.  Congratulations to these students for their outstanding achievements.
