Student Shadow Day
A student shadow visit at Red Lion Christian Academy is an excellent opportunity to experience our campus. Shadow students spend a day with a current student and follow their rosters for the day. The goal of the shadow program is to offer high school, middle school and elementary students a chance to experience a typical day at Red Lion Christian Academy.
When scheduling a shadow visit you may request to shadow a current RLCA student or we will assign you a host based on your classroom or extracurricular interests. We recommend that you shadow a student in your current grade level so you can get a realistic feel for what your schedule will be like.
If you are interested in scheduling a shadow visit, please complete the following registration form below. Please contact us at least 48 hours in advance of the anticipated visit so that we may notify the shadow host and prepare for the visit, ensuring the most positive experience possible. All elementary through high school students (K-12) are welcome to shadow at RLCA.
Notes to Remember About Students Shadowing at Red Lion:
- Typical shadow days are from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. in the Upper School and 8:15 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. in the Elementary School. Please report to the Upper School Office at 7:45am. A parent or guardian must be present to sign the student in and sign a consent form.
- Shadow students must follow a modified version of our dress code. We ask that students come dressed in a plain colored polo shirt, khaki or black dress slacks and closed-toe shoes.
- Shadow visitors may want to bring something to read in case the host has a quiz or test on the day of the visit. If interested, notebooks and writing instruments can be helpful.
- Students should be picked up in the Upper School Office at the end of the school day to be signed out. Students are responsible for their own transportation.
Please note that shadows are by advance registration only. Register Now.
