Dress Code- We have a modified uniform dress code at RLCA. The guidelines are listed below. Please see the student handbook for the complete dress code policy.
Shirts
Students must wear a long or short-sleeved polo shirt with the official RLCA logo purchased from an approved vendor. Solid colored crewneck, v-neck or cardigan sweaters may be worn over school uniform polos. (No turtleneck sweaters are allowed).
Pants
Must be chino or cargo style in one of the following colors: navy blue, black, gray, brown, dark or light tan/khaki. Pants can be purchased from any store.
Skirts/ Dresses
- Female students may wear skirts (in any of the five allowed pants colors) that must (at a minimum) extend to the middle of the knee whether sitting or standing.
- Skirts may be purchased from any store except, plaid skirts which must be purchased from the Lands’ End specified items. Skirts may not have slits and must be loose fitting.
Elementary Dress Code Additions
Elementary students should follow the dress policy listed above with the following additions:
- Bermuda shorts or any other types of shorts are permitted in the first and last marking periods only, but must follow the same general guidelines as the pants.
- Girls may choose to wear a dress on chapel days (dress must meet current RLCA length criteria for skirts listed above)
There are two different companies from which the school polos can be ordered. Al’s Sporting Goods is a local company with affordable school polos and Land’s End is a catalog company from which you can also order skirts and pants. The school uniform polos are required attire for Red Lion Christian Academy.
Al’s Sporting Goods
Order Blue Generation polos by phone, by fax, or by mail.
Orders can be picked up at the store or mailed to your home for a nominal charge. Select “knit shirts” and then “Superblend 60 / 40 Piques” to view the shirts. Please see the order form for the allowable colors.
Polo samples are available to try on in the upper school office.You can also go to bluegeneration to view the polos.
