Thank you for your interest in applying to Red Lion Christian Academy! We are currently accepting applications for transfer students for the 2020/2021 school year as well as new student applications for fall 2021 admission. Apply to Kindergarten through 12th Grade
1) Complete the Online Application here. All applications must be submitted online.
**Incoming kindergarten students must be five years old by August 31, 2021.
UPLOAD the following documents to the online application, or drop off the documents at the Admissions Office in Red Lion’s Upper School building:
- Birth Certificate
- Most Current Report Card
- Last School Year Report Card
- Current Standardized Testing
- Behavioral Log from School
- Immunizations Record
- Current Physical
- IEP or 504 Plan (if applicable)
2) Placement Testing - Once we have all your records for your application, the Admissions Office will call you to schedule placement testing. Placement testing times will vary for each grade level. We suggest that your child eats a healthy breakfast and that you pack your child a snack and a bottle of water.
Approximate Placement Testing Times
Kindergarten: 20-30 minutes
Grades 1, 2, and 3: 1.5-2 hours
Grades 4 and 5: 2-3 hours
Grades 6-12: 2.5-3 hours
3) Admissions Interview - Once all required documentation is received and placement testing is completed, all new students are required to meet with the administrator.
4) Acceptance and Enrollment - Within one week following your admissions interview, you will receive notification of your child’s placement status. At that time, you will receive an acceptance letter that needs to be signed and returned to the Admissions Department within one week.
Two steps are required to complete enrollment:
• Create Facts SIS Account login.
• Complete enrollment for FACTS Tuition Management and pick a tuition payment plan.
5) Health Forms - The State of Delaware requires the immunization form and current physical form to be in the student’s file prior to the first day of school. If we do not have the proper forms, your student will NOT be allowed to start. If you have any questions concerning medical records, please contact the head nurse at 302-834-5020, extension 828.
Apply to Daycare and Preschool
1) Complete the Online Application here. All applications must be submitted online.
Incoming preschool students (P4) must be four years old by August 31, 2021.
Incoming preschool students (P3) must be three years old by August 31, 2021.
*Preschool students must be independently potty trained.*
UPLOAD the following documents to the online application, or drop off the documents at the Admissions Office in Red Lion’s Upper School building:
