Classes
GCA offers weekly classes on Thursdays for preschool through 12th grade in academic areas such as Bible, language arts, math, science, STEM, and social studies. In addition to all core subject classes, we also offer art, ballet, Latin, Lego/chess/logic, SAT prep, and more. High school sign language (ASL) classes and our elementary drama program meet on Tuesdays.
Social events, spirit days, honor society, yearbook, community service opportunities, and more round out the GCA experience. DIAA sports teams and a diploma program are also available for 6th-12th graders through our partnership with Red Lion Christian Academy. Our desire is to share the love of Jesus Christ with our students as we partner with families to supplement their at-home education.
RLCA at Glasgow
Red Lion Christian Academy at Glasgow partners with Red Lion Christian Academy to offer students in Grades 6th-12th access to DIAA competitive athletics while allowing families to maintain their unique approach to education. Students participate in a college model of education at the Glasgow Christian Academy campus (located on Red Mill Road in Newark, DE) which offers both college preparatory and honors weekly classes. Once students have met the rigorous RLCA graduation requirements, they are granted an official transcript and diploma representative of their achievement.
Umbrella School
The GCA Umbrella School oversees the education of children in grades K-5 who are siblings of RLCA at Glasgow students or children of instructors at GCA.
